You can now see which letters are assigned to your practice and which have been allocated to be completed by the BetterLetter team.
In the top right corner of the BetterLetter app, you will now see two different filtered views, which you can switch between by clicking on ‘Practice’ or ‘BetterLetter’ in the top right corner of your screen.
When you have the ‘Practice’ view toggled, you will see a list of letters that you are able to assign to yourself and complete.
When you have the ‘BetterLetter’ view toggled, you will see a list of letters that the team at BetterLetter have been assigned to complete.
You cannot work on letters that are currently directed to BetterLetter. If you want to work on letters that are currently with the ‘BetterLetter’ team, you will need to redirect it to your practice.
You can redirect a single letter or multiple letters.
Note: Letters in Preparing can only be redirected if the letter is waiting for a human action. Therefore the redirect button will only become active if the 'View only action items' filter is ticked.
Here is how to do both of these actions…
To redirect a single letter to your practice:
1. Click on the letter you would like to redirect from BetterLetter to your practice.
2. At the top of the letter, you will see a banner with a button that reads ‘REDIRECT LETTER’. Click on ‘REDIRECT LETTER’ to pull the letter.
3. The letter will now be visible under the ‘Practice’ view, where you will be able to assign it to yourself, work on it, and submit it for coding to EHR.
To bulk redirect letters:
1. On the ‘BetterLetter’ view, tick all the letters you would like to redirect to your practice.
2. Click ‘REDIRECT’ in the top right corner, then click confirm.
Note: You cannot undo redirecting letters to your practice. If you do this and decide that you want to send the letter back to BetterLetter, you will need to reach out to the BetterLetter team to assist you.
