Where do tasks go?

This article will explain where tasks that are created on BetterLetter go, and what this means for Docman practices.

When a task is created, they can be directed to:

  • Docman (as review tasks)

OR

  • BetterLetter’s task area

Previously, tasks sent via BetterLetter had to go through a single taskbox. With the new system, tasks can be sent to multiple recipients, making allocation more flexible and reliable.

What’s new for Docman practices?

Previously, when you sent a letter with several tasks, BetterLetter would create a single Docman “review task” containing all task texts.

Now, BetterLetter creates one Docman review task per task line in the orange task table.

This means:

  • More granularity in task management (ex. can assign to different teams).

  • Clearer assignment of responsibilities.

  • Easier tracking of progress task by task.
