What is QuickCode?

QuickCode is a tool that was created to help you navigate your letters faster by allowing you to add codes with one click, without you having to decide what table to put the code into. QuickCode automatically places what you enter in the appropriate table for you.

Where did my tables go?

With this update, only tables that are populated with code(s) will appear on the left-side of your screen. This is to help reduce unnecessary visual clutter and provide you with a cleaner, more simple interface. As you add codes that belong in new tables, those tables will appear.

How does QuickCode work?

QuickCode allows you to type exactly what you want to code into the QuickCode bar, automatically placing your entry into the correct table once you confirm it. This saves you time and allows you to work through your letter faster.

You can click on the tab of the type of code you want to enter, or use a keyboard shortcut of Alt + the number of the tab (Opt + the number of the tab for Mac keyboards).

You can also access the QuickCode bar by directly highlighting on the letter what you would like to code, and the QuickCode bar will pop-up and will recognise what category the highlight belongs to, and will place it in the correct table once you confirm it.

With one click, you are able to confirm the code.

What if my code is categorised into the wrong table?

You can recategorise anything that has been added into a table by simply clicking on the existing annotation (either by clicking on its entry in the table or its highlight on the letter), and then clicking on the recategorise button, which will then allow you to choose which table you would like to place it in.
