Your New Experience: Letters Landing Page & Daily Pulse

Written by Sarah

You may have noticed that we have made some major updates to your BetterLetter experience, including a new Letters landing page and Daily Pulse - two features designed to make it easier to manage your letters and get useful context at a glance.

Your new Letters landing page

When you log into BetterLetter, the Letters landing page is now your new home base for managing letters, with a cleaner experience and new tools to help you find, organise, and take action faster.

To help you get familiar with the changes, we’ve put together a step-by-step guide covering the key features of the new Letters page, including:

  • How to upload letters

  • How to assign letters

  • How to redirect letters

  • How to filter letter lists (including searching by patient name/NHS number)

  • How to sort columns to organise your view (and more!)

The link above will walk you through each of these features so you can quickly get up to speed with the new experience.

Introducing Daily Pulse

You’ll also notice Daily Pulse, a new feature that gives you useful information and context at a glance, helping you quickly understand what’s happening and where you may need to take action.

Want to learn more about how Daily Pulse works? Check out our separate article for a full overview.

You can also click into Daily Pulse directly on the platform to take an interactive tour and see how it works for yourself.

What’s happening with the Coding tabs?

The existing Coding tabs are still available for now, so you can continue using them as normal. However, they’ll be going away soon as we move fully to the new Letters page.

We want your feedback

Before we remove the old tabs, we want to make sure the new experience works for your users.

If any part of your users’ existing workflows or flows is negatively impacted by the move to Letters, please let us know. We’d particularly like to hear about anything you currently rely on that the new page doesn’t support or that works differently.

Your feedback will help us make sure the transition is as smooth as possible.

You can get in touch with us using the live chat feature or by emailing [email protected].
